The Most Beautiful Voice: Andrea Bocelli
Posted on July 8, 2019 by Ann
On our All In’s playlist this week is Fall on Me, a duet by Andrea Bocelli and his son Matteo Bocelli:
In the song, Mateo Bocelli sang about his unease:
I thought sooner or later the lights up above
Would come down in circles and guide me to love
But I don’t know what’s right for me
I cannot see straight
I’ve been here too long and I don’t wanna wait for it
And Papa Andrea Bocelli responded:
Soon you will find what your heart wants to know
Don’t give up hope for I know you are close
And all you have ever dreamed, wished you could ever be
Is waiting to find you wherever you go
Believe in yourself, ever step that you take
Know I am smiling with pride everyday
My love will forever be, stronger than stone
Don’t be afraid you are never alone
Aww… we just heart it so much. He truly has the voice of an angel.
Andrea Bocelli was born with congenital glaucoma who lost his sight completely at age 12 due to an accident.
He had loved music from young and learned to play the piano, flute, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, guitar and drums. However, music was initially a side gig for him. He played in piano bars while studying law at the University of Pisa. He did work as a lawyer for a year before launching his wildly successful singing career.
And here’s another of his breathtaking performance with Sarah Brightman:
