Laurentia is one of Singapore’s most distinguished paralympians with bronze and silver medals from the Beijing and London Paralympic Games. She was awarded the Public Service Star after London 2012 and inducted into the Singapore Women’s Hall of Fame in 2014.

Laurentia has cerebral palsy and profound deafness, but it did not stop her from obtaining a silver medal from London 2012 in the equestrian event choreographed to music. Read more about How Laurentia Learned to Fly in an interview with the Federation Equestre Internationale, and how Laurentia Tan works around hearing impairment.
